Namibia - Jim, Joel, and Mark Welcome
We welcome Jim, Joel, and Mark arriving tomorrow. Jim and Mark will stay with us. Joel is going to hang with Buddy down the street. We'll all spend some time at Amanda's house also, which is now located in 'town.'
Pray for a great visit and grace to complete our packed schedule.
Namibia - In The Office
On my office wall at the MPMC, I have a poster with the following writing:
A friend of my wife will be punched in the face by her husband tonight.
Toddlers I know will be physically, sexually, and verbally abused today.
Another person I know cares nothing about life, is without hope, without any hope at all.
Many people I know are hungry right now, and have no plans of having a good meal anytime soon.
Most people I know will be hungry and cold tonight. A child I know just died.
Many children I know are not doing well in school and do not have the means to help themselves do better.
Many people I know will be drunk tonight, abandoning their children, and giving themselves to alcohol abuse.
So what am I going to do about it?
Stop living in a dream world and preach the reality of life. Life is full of sin. The world is wretched. Almost everyone you know is in pain and suffering and there is no end in sight. Preach well. Preach Jesus.

This one has been there about 3 months. And around the rest of the wall and other walls are verses about Jesus mostly and how essential He is and how great and how worthy His grace.
